you're going to need traction and lots of it, plus a histall converter.

10+" wide rears + slicks

take off isnt going to be your biggest problem, frying your tyres in the mid range will be.... you will start spinning from 3,500 onwards

diff gears are way to high, i would be leaving the 3.45s in it...

Buy a wrx/evo/gtr 4wd sports car.

Fast turbo falcons dont get traction on the street under 100km/hr.

As I said above, traction is the biggest problem, an EL doesn't exactly have the best rear end for traction, so you've got to make up for it with rubber - lots of it, and sticky.

You said no slicks as it's a daily. Are you wanting to drag this (if so get slicks for the strip), or just TLGP's (i.e. illegal racing), either way, semi slicks are road legal (e.g. Toyo R888, or Yokohama A050). Or go for something like the Federal RS-R they're a full treaded tyre made with a soft compound.

Also for better traction, replace diff centre with a TrueTrac or locker. I got the centre in the GT-P replaced with a TrueTrac, it's brilliant from traction both off the line, and mid corner.

Replace rear springs and shocks with something a lot softer, get weight transfer on your side.

yea cheers guys
i was unaware of the traction issues but only having compared it to my mates car( which because of the storm last night i dident get to go in)
i really thought 3.7's would have been perfect if i had no traction problems as im still using the btr with the lovely 1st gear to 80km

what mods should i be doing first on the turbo engine ne way? dump pipe, fuel pump, injectors, fmic
considering i should be looking at 260rwkw with a tune

but yea i will be looking at rims and tyres very soon hard to find nice ones though

If you want a road legal grippy tire than drag radials are your friend. Even a pair of 275's are god for a 7 second pass.

No point deciding what diff gears and tyres you want when you have NFI how the car will drive.

Turbo it first then see.

I thought the car was turbo'd already.

And I thought he already had the 3.7 diff gears in there?

Hate to point out OP's "Age: 18"

Lets hope he's not a 'gunner' like just about every other teen around these parts.
