 Post subject: where the hell does my wastegate go?

just picked up my turbo kit and hav no bloody idea how the wastegate fits in with the rest of the stuff. anyone can explain it or even better have any pics of how it all fits together? cheers.

Get a mechanic to do it all for you.

Expect to spend a pretty penny getting it all working correctly.

got pics of the wastegate?

There should be a pipe on the exhaust manifold that the wastegate bolts to.

The wastegate goes on it so that the side exit on the wastegate is the one that joins into the rest of the exhaust.

Manifold--> end of wastegate
Side of wastegate ---> exhaust.

Hope that explains it okay.

Mechanic ??? You are jokeing arn't you??? Most wouldn't know what it was..
Go to fabrication place or rice exhaust centre..
It bypasses exhaust from manifold to dump pipe...
