The standard xr6 cooler is a garret core but it is only rated for the standard xr6

his car is actually an AIT factory turbo EA, so when he said std ford cooler, he is talking about the factory EA turbo cooler, its only a tiny little thing with the i/c pipes running back under the lower rad support

in that case get rid of it and go a 300*600*76 mine works a treat even on hot days and unless you are going for every little bit of power the cheap cores are good enough.

cheers Mic

Cooler looks small and I'd fit oil cooler somewhere els..Like in inner guard where air can be dirrected to it through spoiler much like brake ducts... Imo...

Thanks guys. I spoke with someone who has the same bar as Im getting and the 100mm core should fit. I bought one off ebay last thursday.

The oil cooler will get moved at the same time.

The car is off getting a cam and new valve springs put in now so hopefully we can push the car to around 220-230 rwkw with the standard turbo.

Has anyone checked out the delta fin cores on ebay? Are they better or worse then barn and plate or tube and fin cores?
