3 grand is a little cheap. you may get it on the road but it may go bang around the corner

its really hard to turbo a flacon with 3g no matter how good your connections are. Even with hookups a decent wastegate will set you back $500 minimum, $1200 for a ecu, $400 for injectors, $800 for cheap to4, $300 for a cooler, $150 for oil lines, then theres gauges, piping, dyno time, exhaust, drive train strengthening.

But having said all that i would love to be proved worng, if you can realibly turbo your eb for $3000 then its all credit to you.

Damn right it is hard to turbo it for 3 grand but i think i can im no 16 yearold idiot thats wasting peoples time so ill give it a good go. i will be getting a T3/4 hi flow unit for 400 bucks, i wont be going aftermarket ecu atm i will be using a bigger fuel pump and fuel reg should be bout 340 for both ( my price) i have a cooler siting at home from my old MX6 turbo i will do all the cooler pipes myself with my girls dad so maby 200 bucks for materials maby??? and we will also be doing the whole exhaust maby another 100 for material for the exhaust and ill use your sugestion of 150 for oil lines so atm its looking like $1,090 for these parts now as it goes with all my other projects you will start out think it will cost bout 1,090 but in truth will probly blow out a few more hundred see how we go hey??? and if it does go bang who cares cos then i will have most parts siting their to bolt on to another motor. Its all about having cheap fun not a reliable fast car. cheap thrils its what we all want :P

How long did your motor pull up before probs started happening?

Is it possible ot whack a turbo on a stock I6 low boost and have it running reliable?
