update:
- deposit paid on motor :)

but thats the only good part
- spend $1000 upgrading turbo on EF ... damn impulsiveness
- blew Typhoon's diff and had to get that sorted. its under warranty, but just a hassle with 4 cars not working. lol

ill update this soon :) with hopefully more positive info

*edit* actually just found about 2hrs ago, that it was snapped axles in the phoon lol

Can you clarify with the bottem end

did you supply your block and they built it for $6500.00
OR

you give them $6500 and they give you a brand new short motor (with new block)

WOW thats great value for a bottem end rated at that HP

All you need is a head with spring's and so on and you have an engine to go for less than 9k

Plus turbo and manifold and i would go for a T04Z package from www.6boost.com or extreme turbo manifolds

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/forumdisp ... ne=60&f=74

http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=84707

Plus a plenum chamber and injectors and ECU fuel system

Total package cost of $15-17 depending on ECU and little bits and pieces

I was thinking of going the same converison in my EF XR8 if i decided to keep it and do what i said just above.

Would be a weapon on a XR

Make at least 400rwkw on pump fuel on low boost
