Hey guys this is my first post so hopefully someone can help me out here. i have recently changed the head on my xr6t, the knob who did it before me f@#$'d it up. at the same time i installed a boost gauge only to find its running 12psi which i thought was a bit high. is it possible to actually have it running that high? the internals and injectors all appear to be stock standard.

should be fine on 12 psi, all the stock gear would be close to its limitations ,
probably best to get a retune for 12psi just to be safe ot not leaning out or pinging

my brother in laws was running 12 for a while but it cooked a few things from leaning out too much have it tuned so you dont have a big bill like he did then he was safe after he rebuilt it and tuned it and went further and had the cams, exhaust, springs, injectors intake, turbo and ecu all redone aain so he could scare the crappa outta himself at 80kph with wheel spin, he sold it for an evo x bucket o'crap.

if it wasnt tuned then get it done quite soon, but 12 psi is fine for it as long as its not leaning out or pinging
