well, you will all be pleased, i discussed the ef version with dad tonight, he was also keen to produce that model too, i told him most of the guys that have seen it comment on how good it looks, but 99% of them want it to fit an ef/el...

so, as soon as i can get my hands on an ef development car, work will start on that...

progress has continued with the ba vesrion, tonight i welded on mounts for the map sensor, and two vacumn ports, and a mount for the top of the dipstick tube to bolt to, just need tomorrow night to drill and tap the vac ports and get busy with the polishing wheel...

will post pics of the polished unit

I've been wanting to do a custom plenum for ages, problem is that i would need one made up with the the throttle body in the standard EF position (haven't got much other choice in my situation).

- where the intake pipes meet the main body of the plenum I mean. I saw the work in progress pic.

Btw if you need any sacrificial intake manifolds to make the new plenums there are some pretty good deals on eBay:

I mean the piece that is missing from the bottom in that pic is what I want to see. The pic is looking into it through the bottom right? I'm interested to know how it joins the engine block.

lol it bolts to the bottom half of the standard bbm manifold.
