Buy a standard setup. It will be just as cheap and of much better quality.

I bought a 2nd hand standard manifold, turbo, water and oil lines, heat sheilding for $1k last week.

Nah I found it for sale on the XR6T forums. It was pretty cheap imo.

Wreckers charge around 2k for the same stuff.

Stock turbo and manifolds go on ebay for about $1200. They are pretty common on there so keep an eye out.

just over 3 hours, not bad. The question was would the turbo work, not should I buy an XR6t. Im sure the fellow has considered that and wants something different. Amazes me how fast people are with that sh!t.

well i called up ford wreckers, they quoted me 2300 for everythin and 2700 fitted, but they put me off by saying that we dont take responisbility if u car doesnt star or go. Why wouldnt it work fine if it installed properly on low boost?

I have an XT. I thought about fitting forced induction, realized it was a silly idea, and bought an XR6 Turbo. There's really no reason not to now with prices the way they are these days.
