Ok you see that chip? Throw it on the bin, it just tells the computer your engines cold and gives it more fuel, doesnt give you 20 hp

Chuck the mod chip in the bin & look at some other mods like exhaust & maybe a j3 chip with a tune.

Cheers

Budget Performance and Windsor's don't really go that well together i'm afraid. I'd probably forget about making more power and try make better use of the power you do have. Example diff gears, highstall if auto etc :) Otherwise do as torana guy said, Exhaust with either tri y's, or EL GT headers, J3, BA XR6T snorkel and K&N panel filter, all of those arn't too badly priced mods :)

First off does it have an explorer or H.O intake manifold?
If it has an explorer keep it. If it has a H.O get either an explorer or an Edelbrock Performer RPM II.
Extractors and a good exhaust work wonders. A single 3" with high flow cats is a good road compromise.
Underdrives , modify a BA XR6T inlet snorkel to fit.

The sprints were only in ED.
Late 97 onwards got the explorer.

No, the genuine Sprints had a Cobra intake.
The later series of EL's received the Explorer intake. There were no EL's released with a Cobra intake. Ever.

A HO intake is not an Explorer or Cobra intake.
