Talk to Craig at Aussie Car Enhancements in Melton, http://www.aussiecar.com

I think he uses Di Filipo gear? He has the quickest 3V street car in the country 12.71 @ 108mph, and one of his customers ran a 13.0 last night in their 3V XT Falcon.

He can help you make it sound good AND run hard :)

ye i've been told it sounds good and someone suggested i keep my exhaust and change the middle muffler with hotdogs and take the resonator off. dont know if its worth doing something like that or just get a new exhaust :/

I have two magna flow "hotdogs" into single inlet dual outlet magna flow muffler at rear. Sounds excellent without any droning. Twin mufflers at back would sound tuff , interested to know if it would drone tho.
this is on a 5lr au with work done.

I hava a custom 3" system with modified headers/collectors running down centre of underbody dumping before the diff using two canons.

Does it sound tough? YES

Does it drone? HELL YES

was there a noticeable hp increase? YES and this was my aim so am very happy with the outcome.

Not entirely sure where I read this, but I believe it was in zoom.
Dual 2.5" pipes flow the equivilant of a single 3.5" pipe.
To check this, simply check the cross sectional area of the pipe.

Dual 3" by the way,

Quote"Dual 2.5" pipes flow the equivilant of a single 3.5" pipe."

I dont understand how twin 2.5 = approx 5" diameter in total as opposed to 3.5" approx in total diameter can give the same flow. Im no exhaust flow guru but thats 1.5" difference that supposibly makes no improvement
