A new Crane 2030 will be on it's way shortly :D

So now I have a few of questions before I start looking around at who to install it and wether or not to wait until the SCT edit for AUs is out.

Firstly what springs/retainers etc should be used? How long and how much should I expect for the cam change over? How will the standard ECU handle the 2030?

Lastly what roughly could I expect out of it? Considering the Ghia recently made 139.1rwkw (sad hey).

Crane recomends the 44308-1 valvespring/retainer package for both this and the 2031 cam in 5.0's.

The only trouble you will have is you will need to remove your aircondioner condenser which means you have to vac out the air con, do the job and pump the gas back in. No trouble for me cos my brother is a refridge mech. Obviously the radiator will need to come out too but thats no big deal.

It's easier to do that, rather than take the engine out.

This is one advantage the guys with the sixes and modular motors have. Overhead cams are much easier to change.

It would be good to do myself but considering I don't have the time, tools or even decent workspace I think I'll just pay for the labour  The cam was purchased a bit ahead of schedule seeing as it was such a bargain :D so I will most likely wait until the SCT edit for the AUs comes out and get some other engine work done at the same time.

Just don't tell RACV :P they'll get all antsy and pre-emptively cancel my insurance
