1.2mm on gas plugs,i have a miss at idle i have chased for months, changed leads-3 sets with less than 1k on them, plugs the same,coils-msd,mallory,bosch,relocated the tfi unit.things will get worse when i change the top end to explorer,on my fast rebuild we used 40 thou over size flat tops and decked the block-warped,so the pistons sit flush on deck,e7s where skimed and serviced.seems to run ok after idle.i noticed a better idle with the mallory, msd coils, was thinking about a crane hi 6 or a summit system for more spark.

If you have a miss at idle, no amount of spark gapping will correct it, What condition is your Balancer in? I canged mine on saturday, it made a world of difference. Repco has powerbond on sale ATM, well, they did on saturday..
for what its worth, $160 odd, process of elimination. don't go putting second hand s**t on a motor while trying to diagnose issues, the second hand stuff might be faulty to begin with.

yea i agree with the plug gaps, our old lpg au originally had the 1.3mm gap the au2 recommended and would run pretty rough, gapped them down to .88mm and was smooth as silk...lol
if that dont help there is another problem somewhere |

Go get your intake checked for CO2 then if you suspect a head gasket, thats the first port of call, Throw a balancer on there if you have a fistful of them, you have already spent the coin on them and they are not exactly ng to appreciate or become a rare item in your life time.

Rough at idle I would be checking compression ??
On gas you MAY have valve recession or tight valve clearance..
