Yes i think i may have to consider getting mine HPC'd at some stage they certainly do look impressive. I pick the ute up tomorrow. Check out the thread in the Suspension forum for more details, wont fill this thread up about it. How long do you think before the AFR's get mounted atop the windsor????

Update is got caught with customs.Once you go over $999.99 Aus your up for all the charges.Got out of it thank christ but held up things for a bit.Intake, roller lifters are here + one head as heads are shipped seperately and therefore had to be cleared seperately.Only thing its given me time to get everthing else ready in the meantime. Will be putting back together this week and should be firring it up on the weekend.

Pretty well back together.Have to put the top section of the intake on tomorrow, dizzy in and then give it a kick in the guts. The pacies did'nt line up with the exhaust system that was connected to the genies so i'll have to take it down next week and get that sorted out.Great to finally be getting it back together.

Nah no pics Jeff, got too excited in getting it together and forgot to take some.I'll take a pic in the morning before I put the rest of the intake on and then you'll be able to see the rocker covers I got better.Extractors were a b**ch cause I used stainless steel hex bolts and I did the passenger side first cause I reackon its the worst to fit and had all the bolts in a few threads and then when I went to do them up they were a couple of threads too long ,so back off they came and shorten all the bolts

Awesome mate, looks great. Whered the polished coil cover come from, last time i seen a pic there was an exposed MSD blaster sittin there, also the aeromotive AFPR looks new too, I bet that wasnt cheap .
The new covers look nice, just need some form of engraving/etching IMO to top them off. Its such a pitty having to bolt up all the power steer/air con and alt brackets, as the AFR alloys looking awesome sittin atop the windsor with no front dressing. Did everything go to plan on the install? Cant wait to see it all back together ready to rock!!!

Yea cant wait, was primming the fuel tonight and accidently went to far with the key and it fired up-9:45 without the exhaust connected oops!.
Had a few probs Jeff, one of the bolts for the accessory brackets was too small so had to use a heli-coil to size the thread down. Was a pain as it was the bolt behind the power steering pulley. The coil cover was from a mates old pro-comp coil which I had to cut a piece off to make it fit and the fuel pressure reg has been there from the origional build.I ordered it before the first dyno but the order was stuffed up so they sent it to me where I was staying on holidays on the Gold Coast and I fitted it in the underground car park which was interesting pulling off the top half of the intake with limited tools. Was a shame to cover the heads with all the accessory crap and I was going to do something with the covers but the plain look is pretty good and matches in well with the polished cobra intake. On a another note the intake flow figures were interesting as there was a 64cfm gain on intake port 1 & 5 over stock and all the others around a 54cfm average gain.

Nice work. Will the Oil filler clear the manifold. I hade to modify my cobra rockercovers to get them to fit on the correct side,IE passengers side at the front, just clear of the TB.
