Dunno about extractors but the difference between the waterpumps will be small. Being a Jetsprint boat I assume it will have big heads, cam, etc. so a saving off 1-2 hp is not going to be noticed plus with the boat running flat out most of the time, water flow will be sufficient with the standard item.

You need a self primming pump if you are using outside water..A low pressure / hi volume gear pump....Then do away with std pump..Unless you are using a heat exchanger you need two pumps...

i know i should be doing this ina marine forum...but there aint none!
the water pickup is in the actual jet unit, blows water straight in up to a gravel bucket.then through a tap, into the donk, out the therm housing which also has a tap. its only going to be used in fresh water also.
if anyone has any ideas or anything their help would be appreciated.

also what sorta power do you think id be getting? its just running a carter780,302heads, dbl springs, stage 2 cam(tq20)and extractors that dont exist yet. what do you think it would jack it up to with an edelbrock performer and holly750?

thank fellas!

that set up should be fine. with the extractors, you can only turn em upside down if your running the engine back to front like through a vee drive, as far as i know most jets arnt run back to front so you will have to get exhaust made up or run normal extractors through the transom with rubber flaps.

Custom exhaust.I liked the boat Austrack helped/ sponsered. The exhaust met into one via Y pipe sounded awsome and had some grunt...
Or I guess you can cut and weld one made for car ?
