Bought an '85 F350 dual cab with a 351 clevo on gas, and after much stuffing around trying to make it run like a 351 should, not a half baked 202, I thought I should ask the forums.

Everythings stock at the moment, and its either time to work the current motor, or get a rebuilt, mildly worked gas spec exchange donk from somewhere.

Any names of exchange places, links etc would be very helpful, as well as cam suggestions, and general mods to the motor. It'll be getting extractors + exhaust soon.

It doesnt need to be a revvy motor, it needs torque as it will be towing 2-4 tonnes most of the time when in use, so maybe 4 grand is all the revs it'll need. But yeah, lots of torque, and fairly low.

My 351 runs straight gas . I have a 425 mixer, Redline Street Torker single plane manifold, electronic ignition and 4 into 1 extractors. Not a lot of mods but it feels very strong. Mods lke these are a good start and of course get a good tune done .
