A 315W EFI Dissy will be fine. If you intend to run big comp, or boost or NOS then upgrade to an aftermarket job. But do the lot, coils and dissy, or even aftermarket ecu and coil packs. I have changed to coil packs and have noticed a marked improvement in spark when using NOS.
IE i can run normal plug gaps and still use the NOS with out the spark being blown out. Brett

Comp is estimated to be about 10.4:1
so u think she will be rite, whats a realistic limit for the stock dizzy, hp / comp wise its not going to be a track / drag car, jsut a weekend fun car

Your dissy does just that, it distributes the saprk. If the coil is inadequate then the spark will be blown out. If your leads are crap, same problem. Upgrade the cap to an MSD one, as they come with a cool device for keeping the leads in place, but unless it fails i wouldnt worry about upgrading it at this stage
