Thanks for the advice Martin. I will try another fuel pressure regulator to see if that makes a difference.
Will be getting a EMS 8860 fitted after christmas. Can't wait!!
Cheers,
Dave

Mine has been in getting f**k miss well and truely sorted.. haltech FINALLY came out after we found it run PERFECT with Stinger on generic tune [na] The dissy was corrupting hall effect signal and ignition was getting weard signals.. Well?? new software download and 8 volts supplied to hall senser and it worked bloody great..Without changing boost from E6K which is 12 Lb it punted out 385 rwkw [over 500 h.p] up from 340 rwkw..
Will tune to 18 or so Lb..p****d that couldn't make to f/f dyno though...Been through three tanks of fuel on dyno chasing this gremlin...
New ecu is haltechs E11v2...

I think that you will find that its a little closer to the 225 Kw mark. 1 Kw = 1.34 HP from memory

Lucky you! That should sort everything out.

EBXR8380 - that power is bloody frightening... thank god for aftermarket blocks... cant wait to see what it does @ 18lb, would have been contender for national champ at AFF (I think was taken by blown pursuit w/ 450rwkw).

3 tanks of fuel.... about 1 hours worth in that thing??? lol

so 170 kw at the wheels for your 4.9. what do you think would be a expected power gain for an I6 supercharged? and how much booste were you running? cheers

Boost is mapped on the graph. Appears to peak around 7.5psi. Remember the poor thing is breathing through standard headers (if you've ever seen the V8 exhaust manifold you'll know what i mean, lol).

For the 6 cyl... assuming it ran the same kit at the same boost...

I'd expect very similar results from an I6 if it had 116rwkw before supercharging. I'd expect the power curve to be a bit shallower. It'd probably get same peak kw but wouldnt be as much power under the curve IMO. V8 also has 2 more injectors to get fuel through so I6 may have fuelling dramas???

Easier to go turbo on the 6 anyways ;)

Lol - looks can be deceiving. Fairly simple... but its not a small job...

Martin: Looks like a good graph man. You got plenty of plans in the future??

That's a nice figure for the BA XR8 as well. The Typhoon at the day over here pulled 282rwkw with minor mods as well though. :P
