Hi all.
Have my EF XR8. The thermostat cover bypass outlet tube (goes from thermostat cover to water pump) has corroded - not much chance it will last too long. On the clevo's, these were replacable. It appears to be a pressed in item. Does anyone know what size they are, and where I can get them from? Alternatively, any ideas on alternatives? - The cover is in great nic. Nigel |

On a clevo it was the hose barb that was pushed into the block that was replacable. Not the one in the thermostat housing.
Same as the wheezer , it is cast into the housing. New housing it is for you. They are not dear and you can get them at pretty much any parts joint.

Turns out its a 3/4in Press fit pipe. Im going to see if Ford do them - I removed mine and it has no damage. If it costs $20 that still saves me $80

Score! (or is that win!!).
Nothing from Ford. Nothing in the KC Castings book, however a little research got us to KC125 - Gemini Bypass pipe. Its 3/4, and I'll press it in tonight with a little stag. $17 beats $99 The rest of the housing is good Thanks for the guidance guys Nigel |
