If you ask Kenne Bell, their only authorized Australian distributor is Bluepower. They'll also tell you that any kit that is fitted here that hasn't been sourced through Bluepower will have no warranty through them, what-so-ever. And, if they trace any kits back to one of their US distributors, that distributor will be at risk of losing their distributorship.

I spent a bit of time a while back trying to get these cheaper than buying locally, as I do. Whether BPT have recently become distributors or not, I can't be sure. I doubt it though.

Yes, it's the 174 kit. And the front dress on the engine is standard E-series

I run a 800DP, but you could mount some injectors into the top of the blower if you really wanted to. Or even use a Holley TBI style system. But carb is 10X easier and with the mixing & heat inside the blower is just as effective as injection.

Why waste ur time with old school technology when u have procharger which is kick a** gear.............

Old school gear for old school cars and every newer car with a blower hanging out dosent seem right.

No chance of fitting injectors in the manifold, and rootes blowers like having fuel going through them.

You must have some opressive rules in Aussie if you can't have a blower through the bonnet (fit a scoop?). Over here modified vehicles pass certification if they have good brakes and stop well, aren't too noisey, aren't a safety hazard and don't smoke out the tail pipe for more than 10 seconds after start-up. It's simple, keeps the dangerous stuff off the roads, allows enthusiasts to enjoy their hobbie, and the accident stats back this up.

i was about to mention KB, why the hate? :)

Really bad customer service and the kit quality varies wildly.

agree with customer service. sent an email twice about 3 weeks ago and still no reply. Can't comment on quality - only heard good things here

Had no dramas with Kenne Bell in the states, sent one e-mail got a reply straight away telling me to contact the Australian distributor (Bluepower), and the deal was done.

Should of told them about the piss poor service these wankers are doing to them... never mind, I'll provide them with a link to this thread so they can see the effects bluepower are doing to their product. can't have resellers with piss poor attitude who don't give a rats a*** on a product they are representing and the potential clients they are loosing...

word of mouth travels far and wide people. it'll either make, or break you!

Lol, Bluepower were great to deal with as far as im concerned, and have been great ever since.
I also passed a mate onto them who bought the same kit and didnt have a problem.
