Just wondering about putting a 6/71 on an EF XR8. Is there any ppl out there that have seen this done or could provide me with info to do it.

my thoughts would be that you can't do it legally for the road as it would sit way too far above the bonnet line, that why people go for Raptor or similar style hanging off the side instead of on top where 6/71's are mounted, but if you have one lying around I'll have it for my ZD!

I was thinking about not having it as my daily driver. I might take a few measurements and see what i can come up with.

It will most probably fit but I don't know about driving the ancillaries.

Eaton M112.
the 6/71 has to much parasitic drag and to much stuffing around with parts and authorities.

{USERNAME} wrote: is there a bolt on kit for the M112 Nope and with good reason the intake on a 302 is too narrow so you'd have jack it up over the fuel rails which would make it too high once again. Here's some 6/71 kits but I wouldn't use one.... http://www.superchargerusa.com/ford_bk_drag.htm#ford302 KB make about the only bolt on positive displacement kit(non intercooled) but frankly, they don't deserve anyones business! |

Ask the site sponsor here bpt-motorsport-f33/
If you're tight with cash then source the charger from ebay.

I thought the only authorised Australian dealer was Bluepower. I'm pretty sure they're the only ones who have warranty backing from Kenne Bell, anyway. Kenne Bells can be intercooled, it just takes a bit of fabrication work. We'll be seeing an intercooled one here in the West within the next 12 months, hopefully!

B&M/Weiand/Holley make a nice bolt-on kit. Positive displacement. Allows stock sepentine drive to remain. Low profile. Can easily make enough power to destroy your engine. Here is a photo of mine.

If they sell complete kits then they must be authorized. this is the solution to the height clearance on the 5.0L windsor, upside-down and side mounted. http://www.bptmotorsport.com/EB-AU_50L_pd_SCHGR.htm I reckon you can source those identical plenum secondhand from the stang forums in the states and Canada. even score a M112 complete kit for peanuts, have it side mounted somewhere between the shock tower and rocker cover... providing you can sort, match, cut, measure, weld and have a foul mouth for cursing. LOL
