It's shorter than the 4.0 and the 5.0 but it's very wide and high out toward the front corners of the engine bay therefore it will hit the bonnet. Some minor trimming of the oil filler neck and a different t-stat housing will solve these probs in the XG but not likely in an AU.

Just leave the bonnet off, old (illegal) school look (done it plenty of times), and yes Pete you are right, Frank's kidney would have alcohol damage.
