hi guys, i bought a 302 clevo today. my car is a stock 250 cross flow, just wondering if the engine mounts are the same between the 250 n the v8. xe came out in v8's, thats why i was wondering,

arnt the cross members from 6 to an a 8 diffrent im sure they are, at the mounting points for the engine mounts are diffrent tell me if im wrong please some one.

Crossmembers are the same, just the mount that bolts on each side is different.
Go to a wrecker, get engine mount plates for a V8, XA-XE and buy new rubber engine mounts from repco or equivalent.

I second what ELGT says, you need the adaptor brackets that the engine mounts bolt to... They are getting scarce but they're still out there.

Try Castlemaine rod shop as they do a bit with conversions.
