Am about to buy a set of AFR 185 heads, will these mate up to my lukey extractors, and will these fit the RPM performerII intake manifold. ANy thoughts would be good

Yep they bolt up .But you'll need to notch the pistons for piston to valve clearance....

Because the 185's run bigger inlet valves and the notch in std piston is too small, plus the chamber height of AFR's are lower than other brands...

Yeah - what he said..
Dummy speak - he made the little half moon cutouts on the top of the pistons bigger. My engine builder notched mine with a special tool he bought. He did it with the engine in the car.

The other thing you need to do is make sure you have .100" clearance between the valve and the piston to make up for rod stretch and piston growth. The AFR heads (especially the 185's) are still flowing their high numbers at .650" lift which means to get the most out of them - you need a fairly big lift cam (most hot hydraulic rollers are around .550" lift). I am going to try the competition cams XE282HR on mine with 1.7 rockers to see if I can get the lift up to .612".
