just wondering if an after market coil such as the Crane Cam PS 91 combined with a set of 9mm leads would be a good upgrade from standard setup on a 5L....

not really, money could be spent better elsewhere, for e.g. removing standard clutch fan and fitting a thermo or something like that, coils dont do much unless you get the whold package...

Just how much better performance can you get from upgrading the coil / leads etc?

that was one of the first things i done...... ive got Spit Fire plugs, and the Eagle 9mm leads, so i was thinking a better coil may give a crisper spark....i konw the coil on its own wont do anything but i thought the combination of the 3 may be decent.
