Firstly why do you want to do it? Unless you have a lot of mods, the airbox with a good panel filter (K&N or BMC) and an EL XR8 snorkle is all you need. Going to a pod filter setup is difficult and illegal in a number of states unless you enclose the pod. Enclosing or sheilding the pod from engine bay temps is the main problem but can be done, some leave the airbox there and mount the pod inside it while others make up pod shields and duct air from behind the headlight or through the wheel arch.

refer this post for the reason you don't fit pod filters to your car

Agree with the boys. Unless you've got a blower or something in the way of the airbox, it's a good setup.

To adapt the pod why don't you go to an exhaust place and ask them to bend you a 3" pipe to fit from the throttle body to the place where you want to attach the pod and just make it long enough so the pod can fit inside

If you have any decent amount of work done to your donk, piss the box off and go for the pod. The main restriction with it would be the lousy snorkle they have fitted to them. If you go them pod you may want to make sure its getting air from outside the engine bay area by closing the area off and running some ducting to it.
