I dont know if its the brand me or my car. Ive gone through a few alluminium radiators seeming 1 a year. On my 3rd
One that i need to buy now. They dont seem to last for me and i use the right coolant mixtures etc. Im looking at going a copper one now. You may be better off doing the same. Imo.

I have alloy 4 core in mine..
NO issues for 10 years.. Make sure earth straps / connections between engine and chassis is in top condition etc..Electronisis kills alloy !!

i remember my expirience with cheap Evilbay alloy radiators.
in short AVOID LIKE THE FUKEN PLAUGE. seriously.. i went thru 3 of the pieces of shlt in 2 months, all failing at the exact same spot. i did get my money back but the expense of fluid and shlt stuffing around with it. i ended up gettin a standard replacement and it has been there for over a year...

cheap alloy radiators are just that, cheap thin rubbish..
buy cheap you get cheap.. atleast the one in the link has alloy tanks instead of plastic.. in general a std 6 cyl and v8 radiator are the same. and imo unless you have engine modifications a larger radiator isnt really nessesary.. i always use a good quality copper radiator.. |

YEP can save timing cover / rear water pump from corrosion also !!! Which results in coolant in crankcase = bad news...

if youz are worried bought electrolisis check around with a multi meter.
they give you instructions on how to do this with the radiator anyway . only thing i had to mod was the fan shroud cause i did a 6. i will be buying one for my v8 when i recover from the parts buying spree ive been on for the last month |

my engine temp is way lower now .
i used to think it was normal for e series to run at all sorts of different temps. hell experienced moders on here will tell you its normal aswell. so why then does my temp now below 100 all the time now hhmm. maybe it has somthing to do with the extra 3l of coolant in it, the 2 extra cores and 22mm extra thickness of radiator |

All the theories on electrolysis etc etc can't hide the fact those cheaper alloy radiators take the place of the other sacrificial elements on a falcon engine and last max one year even with good coolant. I avoid them like the plague as well. My car has a adrad which is doing great and seems very solid: http://www.adrad.com.au/quality/
