You would get kicked off ford forums for posting this, i got kicked off for saying the phase 4 is overpriced and a better car could be built for 50 grand :D true story.
The phase 3 ho is the most overrated ,lied about car in the world, its all noise.

Haha did i touch some nerves, old cars that dont stop or corner that had very overrated q/m times, basically looked good and had good engines.

Yeah in it's day, now they are an overvalued museum piece that have utterly distorted the market for every model XW/XY, with almost every one being sold as "good for XY GT rep".

the torque curve on the normal clevo's are very flat, imagine the spread on the phase 3? Maybe only the 5.6l ticky in the T3 T50's could come close to this engine.

I wish ford still built big raw grunty V8's for our falcons.

They have the know how, just the lack of will.

What is the point of this thread? If you're buying a phase 3 because you think it's going to out do a race built vehicle or any of it's modern equivalents around a track then natural selection should dictate that you will get struck by lightening before you're old enough to reproduce.

The point of the thread - is how they glorify a 165kw HO....I liked it.

I teared up a bit the xr8 was identicle to my baby that I sold not long ago.

I swear by god if I every hear that the new owner has damaged it in any way I'll hunt him down :evil:
