From EB-AU is the MotorCraft aternator used or did FORD change it to Mitsubishi from EF onwards?
The reason I ask is when I replaced my alternator I got asked if it was a MotorCraft or Mitsubishi, I asked if either can be used & the sparkie stated you have to use what the car came out with.

is there any differences between the connections used & could a Mitsubishi alternator be used in a EB-ED v8?
