Ive had a set of 1.7 yella terra rockers that didnt have a stamp of what ratio they were either, mine had come off a 220kw.

Now I'm not sure if its the head cold I'm battling or Im just stupid....

But if they are 1.7 ratio from a 220, does that mean it'll have the same cam as a 220 with duration to suit?

Don't know but a complete AU dash would look wrong in an XH.

I'm not sure, I've never seen one installed in an xh, not one image on the net/forums either. Maybe I'm a bit strange but I like the black AU dash and centre.

If you want to know a few other telltale 200 vs 220 pointers the key one is the heads. The 220 will have the intake ports port matched (this should be obvious by the machining marks in the first half inch of the port). It will be very clear if you take the heads off - the 220 had the big valves.

In AU they look good but in an XH they'd look wrong....too rounded to suit the H and also too deep for the XH windscreen area.

Hmmm, maybe I'll just use the steering wheel and paint the dash lol

Cheers Aussie Pete,

Heads should be back at my mates garage after being milled and pressure tested.
I'll see if he can check for me.

I guess my main question would be, if they are Yella Terra Rockers I'd assume it needs the 220 cam spec to suit :?

not really, you can use the 1.7 rockers on std, 200 or 220 cams.. its when you start going with bigger high lift aftermarket cams with specs to suit 1.6 ratio where you need to take the different ratio into account, as the lift specified for a cam with 1.6 rockers will be more with 1.7 rockers..

I have to measure the ratio of the rockers some how :? because my mate says the rockers aren't stamped.

Cam wise, I was thinking Crane 2030 or something...
but i really have idea because I know my 6's more than 8's.

TROYMAN I've seen some pictures of your awesome looking AUIII with fg rims and your profile states 268rwkw
How the heck did ya get that much power??

after looking at my 1.7s they actually don't have anything stamped as I originally thought..
but I know the 1.6s have a 6 stamped in the circle..

lol.. the 268rwkw in my profile was from my ed turbo 6...
