Hey all,

Ive found an au 5l and 5 speed with all acceseries, wiring harness and stuff for a reasonable price.

I am going to be fitting this to my el fairmont which was a 6 auto.

What I want to know is what happens with the electrical side of things?

Cause I cant run the au computer as I would think it would interfear with my els bcm and stuff.

So do I buy an el xr8 man ecu? And will that run the au engine? Or do I just get an aftermarket ecu?

Also I want to modify the engine before I fit it into the car... And im thinking of either a eagle 347 stroker kit, or a set of alloy heads. What would you guys recommend and why? I was thinking bottom end cause heads can be done later in the car.....Bottom end cant!

And what is the 347 stroker kits worth? Cause I was thinking the stroker kit and either the stage 2 or 3 trickflow roller cam.

As ill have the money for all this in 2 weeks time. So I need to know what to get!!!

Talk to TS50EB. AU engine in an EB with EL interior.. You can run the AU computer, just have to change a few wires over..
