Hi guys,

The 5 ltr in the EBII fairmont is starting to get old and rattlyvand are thinking about an running gear swap.
I have the chance to purchase a AUII XR 8 eng and trans along with the wiring loom and computer

Would the AU trans mate up and work with the EBII componentry and also the EEC IV etc

Apart from the dizzy, the engine from the AU should swap over ok and mate up with the EBII trans but I am not sure.


Anyone done this conversion before or has any info, it would be appreciated.
