Hey guys, i'm trying to chase up a tacho signal in my AU series 1 to finish wiring up the Lambda system for the LPG.
I'd prefer to find one under the dash or even at the cluster as that's where the loom is.
I have genuine diagrams here that aren't telling me s**t... i checked the cluster diagram and it gives me every wire except the tacho signal.
I also checked the instrument cluster section on FM and it says it's a white/pink wire... there is no such colour at the cluster.
When i started this i thought the tach wire would be the easy part, it's turned out to be a hard one to find with everything else being easy lol.
If someone could provide me with the right colour and position i'd really appreciate it... even the colour of the tach wire on the diagnostic plug.

if it's the same as EF\EL it should be a pink wire at the diagnostics plug.

It turns out there isn't a tacho wire at the cluster or diagnostic plug... It actually runs through data (Not sure exactly how it works).
Matti helped me find the terminal at the ECU so i'll just go with that.

Yep, thats the way to do it. Just tap straight into the "Clean Tach Output" pin on the EEC wiring loom...
