This may have already been covered but a search didn't give me info I wanted. I have an AU V8 engine complete with accessories that I want to use. Will be changing back to using the disy and am getting adapter plugs for the AU injectors so no probs there. What I want to know is what is difference in the power steering high pressure hose, and where in Perth might be a good place to get a hose made up to suit? I think the alternator just needs the pins changed to the AU connector but I havnt had a good look at that yet.

Any Pirtek kind of place will do the high pressure line for you.
Do you have the AC lines sorted too? I'm sure the alternator will just be simple wiring. When we did mine we just bolted all of the E series acessories and brackets onto the block. Bolted straight on, then just swapped over to the E-Series crank pulley. Much easier! |

Yea I know swapping everything is easier.... Just have all the accessories here that I would like to make use of, mostly the power steering pump and alternator (130A).
I forgot about the A/C. The E series one cant be made to bolt up? |

No idea. Au compressor is very different, same as an AU 6 cylinder too.
As long as there is room you should be able to sort out some spacers or brackets for it. Will affect belt size slightly too. |

Hi there... I have a set of extractors from a Fairlane by Tickford (they used the GT40P heads like the AU). You will need to find some aftermarket ones.
