Hi I've got a funny belt noise coming out of my xr8. Started out as a squeak that I thought was the idler pulley bearing so I have changed those but the noise is still there. Now it had started to stall the motor out so I'm thinking it's something more then just a pulley bearing. Any ideas. It only does it while accelerating but not all the time.
Any help would be great thanks

That noise will be the cam syncroniser...They always squeak and chirp when they need replacing.
