Hey all!

I have recently purchased a series 3 manual AU XR8 in Venom Red.

I have resisted the urges but I cannot hold out on the modding.

The first mod that I want to do is the Headers and Exhaust.

I have my heart set on a twin system and I was wondering if anyone knew of manufacturers that make bolt on systems for the AU XR8.

I have seen the 2.5" Manta systems available on eBay for around the $1,000 mark, has anyone tried or tested these?

Also I have noticed this header and cat package on eBay but they seem to be 'noname' type brand, would these be any good?

Any info would be great!!

Cheers.

Honestly, cut the collector back to open it up to 2. 5' on the stock stuff, new 100cpsi cats, twin 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust. Done.

So no need for replacement headers?

No. The stock XR8 headers are really good

I believe Manta or Difillipo will be your only options for a bolt system, otherwise any half respectable exhaust shop could build one for you.
