Their power output only differs greatly when left stock. So, AUIXR8 = 185kw. Add full exhaust & cam (let's say $3000). As EDXR8 said, around 240kw. AUIIIXR8 = 220kw. Add full exhaust & cam (again, $3000 as same parts being fitted). New power = 240ish kw once again. -Dave- Even though this thread is super old. Hmmmmmmmm......... AUI has same heads & intake manifold as the AUIII (and probably maf and tb).
AUIII has better cam profile, but don't know about roller rockers, exhaust system, but I'll assume that the AUI has a "soft" cam, normal rockers, and crappier extractors to begin with. So, barring the roller rockers, if you're swapping all the other stuff anyway, you should get a very similar end output. This is all speculation though, I have the s**t V8 of all, the HO!
