was just wondering whats involved replacing the auto in my LTD,

it looks like a complicated job, exhuast and cats come very close, housing bolts look hard to get at, especially the top 2...

replacement through a mech might cost over 1k, but i need it asap...

don't know what to do :S

Place floor jack under auto and carefully remove..

is it hard to do?
i've been told its difficult due to lack of room and hard to reach bolts at the top on the bell,
i looked under and got the impression i was biting off more than i could chew,
i've one multiple changes on the older falcons, they were piss easy
