Just depends what you want out of a charger and how much you wanna spend.
If you want something that looks stock and you want the bragging rights to your mates for having a charger got for a Yella Terra, you want a cheap option that starts to power up high in the revs then a Capa side mount will do, if you want a monster with more torque from 2000 revs then you know what to do with go for a Kenne Bell from Blue Power. With a Kenne Bell, stock internals are good for around 350rwkw, 400rwkw is attainable but reliability can become a problem, but what it always comes down to is the tuner. |

Even the Eaton kits that BPT do are good too.
Spoiled for choice with the boss motor. I'd be looking at the whipple or Kenne Bell, they will fix the boss lack of urge under 3000, and make it a torque monster. 300-350 rwkw and full boost at 1500 rpm. Wouldnt even bother with a centri blower.

Yeah positive displacement blowers is the go.
no lag. monster torque. I know of both a GT with a capa, and a XR8 with a Blue Power Kenne Bell. Both are awesome, putting down roughly the same RWKW, but the kenne bell is quicker down the quarter by a good margin.

If you call spending 11k (+ 3k for intercooled kit) for a stealth charger (that won't keep up with a Kenne Bell) perfect, you must have rocks in your head On a more serious side here, when i think of supercharging a car i think about performance, reliability and quality. After spending a bit of time with Chris from Bluepower, seeing his products up close and feeling the power these things make (which easily blows away a well modded turbo on the streets) i have no doubt that they are one hell of a good design which just gives you an endless amount of raw power But it also comes with reliability with 350rwkw @ 6 or 7psi (my bad, 8psi is about 400rwkw), the only downside is it can be a bit of fun to handle. But this is my choice on a blower, which is why i'm getting rid of the 3v and putting a Boss 290 with Kenne Bell in So what does everyone else look at that makes a good charger? Besides most ppl here just saying that "this one looks good" etc. And just one thing to mention with the Capa blowers, you still need to buy more parts + labour + tuning so at the end of the day you'll be spending a couple $k under what a fully installed intercooled Kenne Bell would be with power that wont even come close.
