You mean 5.4L Ba don't you?

If he has broken the timing chain, then he is probably looking at bent valves.

If that is the case, then heads off etc, new valves, chain etc.

Sorry buddy.. I certainly did mean 5.4.. Yeah I think probably an engine rebuild or replacement engine for him then.. There is a $2200 one on ebay.. might be his best bet.
