Hey just toying with the idea of doing a cappa kit for my ba11 xr8 ute, the motors done 120 thousand. Just wondering how reliable the cars going to be if i was to do this? Also would it need engineering? Would it chew fuel? Just some basic info would me appreciated thanks

Gday,
Reliability shouldnt be an issue if your not looking at running more than say 6-9psi. Should get a decent power increase at that anyway. As for engineering, i dont know about other states but, in NSW it will need to be engineered to be street legal. And talking on efficiency, all depends on the tune and how your going to drive it. Drive it easy with a good tune and it shouldnt be any less efficient than it is now.

Cheers

Sam
