It's a 5 speed manual

I have a problem when I hit the accelerator reasonably hard in first or second gear sometimes the power will suddenly dip dramatically when it gets to about 5000 revs

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Change the coils if you haven't already done it....

Could be a weird rev-limiter issue....

COuld be fuel pump and/or filter too.
