Hi everyone...

I have just purchased a BA XR8 04 Manual and have noticed that between about 2800 revs to 4000 there seems to be bearing nose coming from the engine!! ?

Its not there all the time and only in and around this rev range on what appears to otherwise be an excellent sounding engine!

Car has about 150kms on it and I'm about to get the oil and filter done next week with Penrite HPR10 oil in hope that something may improve!

I have been searching high and low for any experience with this or whether it may just be something that could be causing it... no luck so far!!

Any advice?
