Hi there can any one help me or tell me what are the best mods for my ba xr8 ute to get more or better low down power or better take off as it feels like it's quite sluggish but really screams throughout rev range past about 2500-3000rpm then she is really going

Welcome to the boss motor.
They are renowned for lacking low-speed grunt. Some good torquey extractors and 3.7s or 3.9 diff gears should help it launch a bit better.

Hi there yeah it's either pretty shot down low or it's good down low and really good and torquey when up higher in rev range, at the moment I have hm extractors high flo cats and stainless twin 2 1/2" to 3" back to twin 2 1/2" cat back, under drive pulleys capa flash tuner standard tunes with box, ss big mouth throttle body, growled cold air intake what sort of power will all this make roughly if any one has similar, also been looking into difillipo big boy cat back

Oh, you already have all that. Short of upping the compression(like a 290) or supercharging about the only thing you can do now is the gears. The Big boy system will not help matters I'm afraid, you really need the comp and cams of the 290 to warrant that.

Is it manual or auto?
My 240rwkw 6 Speed manual XR8 hauls a*** off the line and it still has factory diff gears

yeah it will help but you will probably still want more, diff gears probably a good option for you then, 3.9's would probably be a good match for a 4 speed, just depends on wether thats what you want to do. You could also look at getting a hi-stall for your auto but it's probably something you dont want to stat messing with and havent heard of anyone putting a hi-stall in with the boss motor and unsure wether it provided good gains. Hopefuly someone can shed some light

Gears for sure, hi stall converter even 500 rpm higher will help ...
Talk to the guys at Bluepower... Make sure you get a reputable hi stall converter or you'll have issues, they can be fussy!!! Run a good cooler... Maybe change cam timing ??? But must be done by someone who knows what he's doing...

Unless you can do all the labour and tuning yourself. (i.e. essentially free) As already said, with the 4 speed auto, diff gears 3.9 or 4.11 will get it boogying.
