hi. just on the prowl for some cheap horsepower. the twin turbo setup from aps sounds pretty sick. does anyone else have any ideas???

I wouldnt think that would be considered *cheap* horsepower, rather it would be considered *expensive* horsepower, but if you go ahead with it it would probably be awesome.

Define expensive... especially when compared to the base price of a BA XR8.

cheap power? Breathing mods and then get the thing an edit to accommodate the mods and raise that rev limiter :)

$ per HP the turbo is pretty darn good value. High entry price.

I don't believe APS are doing a kit for BOSS's any more.

There's plenty of places doing various kinds of centrifugal and positive displacement blowers. :)

the 1st things i would be doing is a full exhaust and 4.11 diff, then cai and tune

As said above then some porting or Extrude Honeing of inlet manifold..
Much more than that you are throwing money away... These engins love forced induction..

BPT do a positive displacement supercharger for the fords too. Based on a eaton blower used on the svt vehicles. Not cheap though.

always was a bit weary of the supercharging side of things. thought it created too much heat. might check out harrods for intake mods. cheers
