Y block is from the 50/60s? in yank cars? they were only small capacity though?? biggest was 383? thats a big block of metal, for a smaller capacity, last forever i spose.

interesting .

My old man use to work on them for about 15 years.... that and he owned a 32 coupe with a Rambler in it, but he had the larger Version

The studdy from 62 to 64 had a 287 V8 in it. They looked similar to a Valiant at the time. Studebaker Lark or Super Lark, something like that.
And I think a Golden Hawk a 2 door model of similar appearence.

yep.... Im certain its definitly a Studebaker..... you can still see the worn off 287 sticker on the rocker cover

The rocker cover stickers look like this. As said above, 287ci as fitted to 1960's ramblers

Have a look at the exhaust manifolds. If the middle outletes are together i'd say it'd be something mopar, if not might be something else.

mopar dont make a 287ci and the heads arnt mopar you can see that thats the giveaway its not

I really have no idea what it is, but the almost destroyed stickers on the rocker cover looks VERY similar to the ones stockstandard put up. You can even see half of the word Motors on it, the bottom point of the V8 symbol - not to mention the 287...
