It looks like the BBK SSI (cross ram EFI) manifold has hit the big stores in the states - and it is reversable so we can use it on our Australian Falcons. I am trying to get more information on it now but it has a few really good features (like 1/2" billet fuel rails which don't go around the distributor, have a revised fuel regulator position & the fuel rails are included in the price). I have been sent some decent photo's of the manifold halves but I can't post them up through works computer..
To have a look at this new beast go to http://www.bbkperformance.com/products/ ... fold.shtml Might have to try it on the 347 Shane

Jegs have them at US$570 odd. The GT40 is US$599 but doesn't come with 1/2" billet fuel rails which would cost you another US$120. When you add on freight, Jegs over seas order charge and import duties & taxes it would have to be roughly $1300 - $1400 landed.

here is a link to a test on a 5.0L mustang that i found. http://mustang50magazine.com/techarticl ... 12_intake/
i would really like to know the length of & cfm each runner can flow but have not yet found any such info, only that bbk claim no loss of torque compared to stock & 12% more flow than 'competing intakes'. has anyone else found more specific info? (particularly runner cfm)

I am still waiting for the "hard information" (runner lengths - dimensions and runner CFM's) to come in from one of the R&D guys - I will post it up as I get it.

Very very sleek looking unit Shane. With the provision of fuel rails and adjustable regulator, seems like an absolute steal at 570 odd USD... is this fairly "cheap" compared to other new after market jobs?

My Trickflow R was $499 - fuel rails are going to cost me minimum of US$120 new. So if it flows as well as the Trickflow R and doesn't lose as much as the Trickflow does down low - there might be a brand new "R: for sale soon.

Summit www.summitracing.com have these manifolds for sale for US$519 or complete with 70mm throttle body for US$669.95. The 70mm throttle body alone is US$180. With this manifold you don't need an EGR spacer as it is allready cast into the body..... mmmmmmmmmmm I want one for the stroker... Has anyone found these cheaper?

I might take your trickflow, depending on what pans out for my LPG kit.
Looks like I might need to keep EFI style manifold and TB/MAF to keep the ECU happy.

Shane is it me or does the TB feed the left plenum before the right hand plenum?? Seems like a very very odd plenum arangement, with the air entering the left plenum 200mm before the right plenum, or is the center section where air is pulled into both plenums?? If so the air does a nasty 90de turn to get to the left plenum and has direct access to the right plenum. This manafold would look awsome with tiwn TB's one left one right feeding a plenum each.

There is or was a dual throttle body manifold like the BBK SSI, hmm great for twin turbos with water to air aftercoolers.
