hi

i always have used and recommended penrite oil.
especially on large engines with alot of kms..
my xr8 has 275000 kms and i use penrite hpr30 (20w/60)
but there are other oils out there that may be better .

i thrash my cars on a regular basis
and i have never had a engine fail due to oil related problems.
maybe im just lucky !!

what are you using now and why do you want to change?

for lpg just some decent oil as lpg burns hotter and crap oil will degrade rather quick.

For your k's, HPR30 is the best bet.

HPR 30 will do the job fine.

Regardless of how much you spend on oil, what brand you use etc etc, just be sure to change it regularly... IMHO that'll give you better longevity as opposed to a $70 bottle of mobil1.

its the viscosity (sp?) of the oil.. to do with temperature is it not? its just a rating. 20 when cold 60 when hot?

The W stands for winter grade basically when the oil is cold the viscosity is lower to make up for the fact that the oil is thicker, as the oil heats up the viscosity gets higher as the oil gets thinner.
