It ended up costing just on $4000 including all the gaskets, head bolts, new spark plugs (they take different ones to normal ford ones) etc etc etc...

:shock: :shock: .. Jeebus!! $4000 on the heads alone! Sheesh, i think i might be better off getting a kit instead of buying everything seperately!

Problem is now, finding the right kit.. :?
I think i might go Trivkflow or something. I might have to look around more. Unless anyone can point me in the right direction of finding some decent kits?

Cheers.

You could try roush 200's I think they are cheaper than afr's, tfs and still make good power.

I called HPW today to see what they can do the kit for over here, they said that they don't get the kit but they can piece it together. Will get $ figures tomorrow. :roll:

So do I, but might as well give it a shot before we give Summit a buzz. A month or so back I remember asking about ordering 2 packages as well. The first quote is for one set, the second quote for two sets..

Your order would be the internet total of the parts you want plus
a handling charge of $23.95. The shipping cost would be the standard
rate of the method you choose. It is calculated on the actual
"packaged weight" when the order is placed, not on the weight of the
parts, plus any duties and taxes on your end and would include
insurance.

Here are the estimates for your
current order in US funds. Parts total= 2049.95
Handling= 23.95
"Approximate shipping costs": On one.
DHL Air Freight (5-10 days)= 525.00
BAX Air Freight to Airport (5-10 days)= 330.00

Choose and let me know which ship method you would prefer.
Plus any duties and taxes on your end.

Here are the estimates for your
current order in US funds. Parts total= 4099.90
Handling= 23.95
"Approximate shipping costs": On two.
DHL Air Freight (5-10 days)= 1040.00
BAX Air Freight to Airport (5-10 days)= 560.00

That kit costs about $4795 in aussie dollars. We don't carry the full kit only the individual components. If you are serious I can see how close to that price I can get.

im thinking around $4000 and maybe get the heads ported and polished and a little bit more done (slight mods)

Mate, that is VERY interesting.. Thanks for that. At the moment, it will cost about $3800 to have the kit shipped over and everything. However, if HPW can get the whole kit close to $4k then that is a goer, especially seeing that you will get warranty also.

Hmmm... I missed reading that post somehow!? LOL :roll:
But yeah, as drone said, 4k'ish for the kit in a local area would be awesome with warranty! :lol:

Drone, which kit are you thinking about getting from TrickFlow? Cos i think that there are a few arent there?
If you have a part/product number for it on their site, then pls post it.

There are two kits the last time I checked. Street version and track version.. TFS-K514-350-370 is for the street version which is what I'm interested in as my car is a daily driver.

I will try to PM a brochure that use to be on the Trickflow site.

Yeah thats the exact kit that i was looking at. Although there's only a 10HP difference between the normal kit and 'B' kit?! :?

Anyways, yeah, if you find that brochure, pm it to me. Just out of curiosity.
