You can get em for less than 12k brand new and they are so strong you can just keep putting bigger and bigger blowers or turbos on them without opening the engine! This is the cheapest way to get 800+rwhp without hardly trying. I think the heads were a 2v iirc, still the same monster size as per most modulars..

They are smaller yes but the E-series engine bay is slightly wider across the shock towers than a BA so you're already in front there. |

i have seen a xe with a boss motor also when i asked this same question couple months ago for an xh... it seems the e-series are just about the only cars that havent hada boss motor jammed into em yet, but for what some of u guys are saying, sounds easier then carving up the x-series engine bays...
