Just wondering what your Boss 260s in autos are revving at at 80-100-120km/h. A mates sits at 1800-2200-2400. seems kinda high to me, any thoughts or problems people have had?

Sounds about right.
Remember that theres no point in having it still on 1000rpm at 120km when the motor isn't A- operating efficently that low and B- Doesn't have the torque to pull a 1800kg+ car along without having to down shift whenever it meets a slight incline. Dont forget converter stall speed, or the fact it has ~3.7:1 diff gears...

even with the 6 speed manual mine revs at 2000rpm at 110km/h, but that is with the 18" wheels & 3.46:1 diff , with 17's & 3.7 diff, rpm will raise by around 10%.
the stall speed on the auto is around 2200, so it would be wise to listen whether the lock up is working in the torque convertor, (just sounds like it has a 5th gear if you count em)

yeh but just coz its revving higher doesnt make it inefficient or anything. just depends where it makes its peak torque and power etc..
